Socialization/training: Bravo needs a family that will help him excel in his training. He learns anything you want, super fast and pretty easy. But if you are not consistent in the training and commands, he will push his limits. Bravo already knows a lot of basic commands through sign language and he is learning more every day! These commands include: sit, down, off, wait, drop, eat, potty, come and toy.
Crate trained: Yes. He does fine in a crate when we are out of the house or overnight. He will howl/bark/whine but not for long periods and is corrected easily with a finger point to tell him no. He will need to be in a crate when no one is home as he does have some separation anxiety and will paw at the door anxiously.
Leash trained: He walks very nicely on a leash. Will do as told and corrects wonderfully.
Activity Level: Moderate to higher activity level. Very much cattle dog level of activity and personality. He loves to run around and play with his dog friends or toys. Will play fetch and tug of war. He is working on sharing toys that aren't meant for tug of war. He can get possessive of these kinds of toys so it's important to always trade up with him when he has these items. He settles when he is done playing.
Fence: A fence of any kind is acceptable for Bravo as he does learn boundaries pretty fast. He can jump if not supervised, but if he is taught not to jump, he will do just fine. Since he loves to run, he will do best with a fenced yard.
Behavior: Bravo loves being in a family environment. He does what he's told, he wants to please his humans all the time. But he will need patience while he learns what he can and can't do in his new home. He is very playful and loves playing with his foster fur siblings. He will also bring us toys when he wants to play with us. Fetch and tug-of-war are his favorite games.
