Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Pink Heart Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs

$300.00 - Puppies/Dogs aged between 0 months through 5 months
$300.00 - Dogs aged 5 months through year 2
$250.00 - Dogs aged 2 years through year 5
$200.00 - Dogs aged 5 years through year 9
$100.00 - Dogs aged 9 years and up

Fees for dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Pink Heart Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dog. At adoption, Pink Heart Rescue dog will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs

Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
Bordetella
Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
Lyme Vaccine (if relevant)
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
Micro-chipped
