Bio: Bubblegum bubblegum! She is a great dog and so very sweet. There is no hesitation there, everyone is a long lost friend. Loves every person, dog, and feline friend she meets. She’s not obnoxious and takes hints from other animals if they’re not interested in engaging with her. She plays appropriately when she does play and doesn’t display a whole lot of typical herding breed tendencies in her play, more of a zoom it out kind of girl. Her best friend is Tammy, who is also at Pink Heart and looking for a home. They will spend a good amount of time chasing each other outside but also come inside an tone it down. She also loves to follow her human around the house. Making dinner? She’s there laying beside you. Doing your hair or makeup? She’s laying there in the bathroom with you. She entertains herself with toys and is no stranger to getting up on the couch and napping. She does have the tendency to nervous/happy piddle but the more obedience commands and confidence building exercises she learns with her foster mom, the less it’s happening. She knows the signs for sit, down, and come. Her foster mom is also working on teaching her cooperative care for nail trims. She is working on using a Klimb for a “place” command. She’s also been started on an appropriate height hurdle for her age and an agility tunnel. She’s a smart girl and a quick learner, if you have appropriate rewards for her. Other than her occasionally nervous/happy tinkles, she hasn’t had any accidents inside the house or her kennel if taken out appropriately. She’s good for about 6-7 hours so far and is crated when at work and at night. She is working on mastering crate training but can be noisy at first until she settles. Usually the help of a frozen Kong and a less trafficked spot in the house, does the trick. Overall, she is an exceptional dog and if you’re looking for something as sweet as pie with everyone, this is your girl.
