Socialization/training: Gibbons is very social and loves to play with our other dogs. He can be kind of meek when in a situation he's not familiar with due to his vision impairment so an active buddy who can show him the ropes would be great. He is working on potty training and is getting better but still needs some work. He is a little more chill than his brother.
Crate trained: He is in a crate when we are not home or are asleep but he is currently sharing a crate with his brother so I am sure there will be an adjustment when he goes to his new home and he will need to have a positive association with the crate.
Leash trained: He is not currently leash trained but is a smart learner and would catch on quickly with positive reinforcement.
Activity Level: Due to his breed mix I would assume he will be pretty high energy although right now he is still a typical puppy and naps a lot. He does have slightly less energy than his brother.
Fence: A fence would be best for Gibbons so he could run and expend energy but a very active home who take lots of daily walks would also be suitable.
Behavior: Gibbons is a super sweet boy who loves to be held abd cuddled. Even though he is a little more calm than his brother don't let that fool you because he definitely knows how to play! He would do best with another active confident dog. Because of his breed mix it is important that he gets enough physical and mental stimulation. Make sure you do research on typical herding breed behavior before applying.
