Name: Grimm

Age: 4 months
Breed: 32% Australian Cattle Dog
26% Shetland Sheepdog
15% American Pit Bull Terrier
11% Great Dane
9% Labrador Retriever
Weight: ~50lbs full grown
Disability: Deaf with some mild light sensitivity
Dogs: yes
Cats: yes
Kids: yes
Location: Mooresville, IN

Socialization/training: Grimm is very social and loves to play with our other dogs. He can be kind of rough when playing so a younger dog who likes to play would be best for him. He is working on potty training and is getting better but still needs some work.

Crate trained: He is in a crate when we are not home or are asleep but he is currently sharing a crate with his brother so I am sure there will be an adjustment when he goes to his new home and he will need to have a positive association with the crate.

Leash trained: He is not currently leash trained but is a smart learner and would catch on quickly with positive reinforcement.

Activity Level: Due to his breed mix I would assume he will be pretty high energy although right now he is still a typical puppy and naps a lot.

Fence: A fence would be best for Grimm so he could run and expend energy but a very active home who take lots of daily walks would also be suitable.

Behavior: Grimm is a very typical happy, active pup! He is very outgoing and can be a little pestering to our older dogs but our younger dogs love to play and romp. He is very sweet and loves human attention but is also great to run around outside and play. Because of his breed mix it is important that he gets enough physical and mental stimulation. Make sure you do research on typical herding breed behavior before applying.

Adoption fee: $300
