Socialization/training: Kiss is a really friendly, loveable pup! She loves all people
(children of all ages) and other dogs. She does great in the home and in the yard. She
is still working on leash training, but does best with a harness versus a collar. She is
well behaved at home and loves to chew toys/bones. She is still working on potty
training as she is a young pup; however, she is very quick to learn and very food
motivated!
Crate trained: Yes, she sleeps in a crate attached to a pen. She is in this enclosure
when her foster family is away as well. She does great roaming in the home, as well as
resting in her enclosure. She LOVES being with the other dogs in the house and thrives
on being close to them.
Leash trained: Work in progress!
Activity Level: She LOVES to run and play with the kids and other dogs. She finds them
very well and adores running around exploring the yard. She also enjoys wrestling and
playing with her fur-siblings. Since she is a puppy, she would benefit from an active
family who is willing to give her lots of exercise!
Fence: A fence is not necessarily required, BUT she loves to have a space to run! She
will happily explore the backyard on her own or with human siblings/fur siblings. She
finds her people and fur-sibs very easily and learns the lay of the yard almost immediately. Her foster says that even though she is visually impaired, she can see light/shapes/objects, which helps her navigate inside/outside.
Behavior: Kiss is a very affectionate and playful puppy! She has typical puppy energy,
but settles very well. She is always excited to meet new people and dogs. She loves to
cuddle and follow us around the house. Her foster often finds her playing with the other
dogs or sleeping under the table/chairs! She has most definitely mastered the art of
napping! She is very food motivated and has benefited greatly from her slow feed bowl.
Kiss is very smart and picks up on residence layout, redirection etc very quickly.
