Bio: Oakley came to us as a surrender from the same adopter who recently surrendered Margaret back to our care. This is Margaret’s housemate. Their owner fell on hard times. Oakley is full of energy but also very lazy. She is fully house trained. She is deaf. She just turned 2 on May 18. She loves to make sure she is in the middle of everything. Is very nosey and always has to know what is happening. She loves to be outside on a cool day and will stay out there all day if you let her. She loves for you to run with her and horseplay. She loves to have another dog with her. She does great with other dogs. She is not food aggressive. She does amazing with kids. She loves to watch tv and lay her head on your legs. Her favorite place to be scratched is her back, she goes crazy. She is not the biggest fan of toys but if they are laying around and she gets board she’ll get one. Good with cats too! Oakley was never crated while in the care of her previous owner and was non destructive. Since being in her foster home, she is slowly being introduced to crate training but remains a good girl when left alone nonetheless. Oakley has been passed around a lot in her short life to no fault of hers, she’s hoping to make this next home one that decides she is a forever dog.
